Lip neutralization is an advanced treatment within the permanent makeup (PMU) industry designed to correct and balance uneven or dark lip tones, rather than simply adding colour.
The treatment is performed using a PMU machine with a fine needle to implant pigment into the lips in a controlled and strategic way.
Instead of immediately creating a pink or nude lip, the process:
- Neutralizes darkness first
- Gradually balances the lip tone over multiple sessions
- Allows for a final colour application once the base is even

What is the difference between Blush Lips & Vibrant Lips?
Vibrant Lips is more Solid and Vibrant and Last around 5 years and Blush Lips can look more Blushed depending on the technician and how they have implanted the pigment and lasts around 2 to 3 years.
The Blush Technique is made up of dots and sits in the surface of the lips where the Vibrant Lips Technique sits 1mm below the surface of the skin.
The great thing about the Blush Technique is you can now correct dark lips that have lost colour, have two tone colours or are just overall dark and need lightening.
